Graham King has parted ways with director Dexter Fletcher on his Freddy Mercury biopic "Mercury" due to creative differences.

Ben Whishaw is still attached to star in the pic with King and Tim Headington producing along with Tribeca Productions' Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal, as well as Queen Films.

The film will follow Mercury's life, including the formation of the his iconic band Queen, and conclude with the band headlining LiveAid in 1985.

This is the second major hiccup in the past year with Sacha Baron Cohen, who was originally tapped to play Mercury, falling out of the project over creative differences.

King is still looking for a summer start date and hopes to have a new director shortly. Deadline Hollywood first reported the news.
