Radius-TWC has acquired North American rights to "Paradise Lost," starring Benicio Del Toro as drug kingpin Pablo Escobar.

The deal was closed at the European Film Market at Berlin. Radius plans a release later this year.

Andrea Di Stefano directed in his feature debut, which also stars Josh Hutcherson from "The Hunger Games" series. The film was produced by Dimitri Rassam and co-produced by Romain Le Grand on behalf of Pathe and Frederrique Dumas on behalf of Orange Studio. Miguel Angel Faura from Roxbury and uMedia also co-produced.

Hutcherson stars as a young man who finds himself unexpectedly pulled into the family business after marrying Escobar's niece. The film also stars Brady Corbet and Claudia Traisac.
