Twentieth Century Fox Television has named Howard Kurtzman president of business affairs and Mark Pearson exec VP of brand management and digital media, studio chairmen and CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman announced today.
Kurtzman's role will now include involvement with Fox 21 and Fox Television Studios, building upon his previous duties of overseeing the business affairs and legal affairs departments as exec VP. Pearson, who guided home entertainment, DVD and SVOD strategies among other responsibilities as SVP of brand management and strategy, is now tasked with leading the exploitation of the studio's brands across all distribution channels, specifically in the digital and new media realm. He will oversee the studio's brand management, strategy, marketing, research and music operations. Both Kurtzman and Pearson will report to Walden and Newman.
