But what I really want to do is edit: Film directors nabbed two of the 10 film slots in the 64th annual ACE Eddie Awards nominations. But the biggest news is the near-sweep of "Breaking Bad" in the one-hour TV drama category.

The Eddie Awards split films into drama and comedy divisions. In the first group, Alfonso Cuaron (along with Mark Sanger) got a bid for "Gravity," while Ethan and Joel Coen, under their nom de edit Roderick Jaynes, were nominated for "Inside Llewyn Davis."

In the category labeled one-hour drama for commercial TV, "Breaking Bad" landed a whopping four of the five noms, including three bids for Skip MacDonald. The lone exception in that category was Scott Vickrey for an episode of "The Good Wife."
