HONG KONG - Production is underway on "Slow Video," the second film to be made by the local production unit of Hollywood studio Fox in Korea.
Lensing began last week (Oct. 23) on the light comedy about a man who sees everything in slow motion.
Next Entertainment World and before that made "BA.BO." Other cast includes Nam Sang-mi, Oh Dal-su, Jin Gyeong and Go Chang-seok.
Production is expected to wrap by the end of this year with delivery in mid-2014. Fox Korea will handle local distribution.
The film is the second Korean feature to be backed by Fox International Productions, following "Running Man," an action thriller from last year which delivered an okay 1.4 million spectators.
Fox also previously boarded "The Yellow Sea," a spectacular actioner by "The Chaser" director Na Hong-jin.
Fox International Productions is an active producer of local movies in Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Within Asia it has produced or financed titles including China's "Love In Space," Japan's "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods" and in India it is on board "Bombay Velvet," the biggest budget film yet made by writer-director-producer Anurag Kashyap.
