"Boardwalk Empire" actor Vincent Piazza has closed a deal to join the cast of Warner Bros. "Jersey Boys."

Director Clint Eastwood and producer Graham King have always liked Piazza for the role of Tommy Devito and offered him the role a couple weeks back, but unlike his other co-stars, Piazza had to first work out his schedule on HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" before he could come on board.

Piazza will co-star with John Lloyd Young, Erich Bergen, Michael Lomenda and Christopher Walken in the adaptation of the popular Broadway tuner.

Pic is based on the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice are penning the screenplay.

Eastwood, King and Robert Lorenz are producing. The real life Valli and Gaudio are exec producing.

Piazza can still be seen as Charlie "Lucky" Luciano in the upcoming season of "Boardwalk Empire," which premieres Sept. 8. He is repped by Gersh and Untitled Entertaiment.
