A deputy was dragged 25-feet by a motorist, Brian Jacob Tanner, during a traffic stop in Minneola after the deputy reached inside his car to grab his keys, reports The Daily Commercial in Leesburg.

The 27-year-old Clermont man fled, driving erratically after being sprayed with pepper spray by the deputy before speeding off, according to the report.

Tanner allegedly also took off with the deputy's stun gun which had been dropped into his car.

This is Tanner's eighth booking in six years, according to inmate records.
