It's time to hand over your intruder calling card when you can no longer topple a couple of old geezers.

When an intruder using a knife pried open a door, the 33-year-old Jacksonville homeowner fired bird-shot at him, reports The Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville.

The wounded man then ran into a nearby home, stumbling into a 69-year-old couple's bedroom, begging them to call the cops, before disappearing into the bathroom, according to the report.

The 6-foot-2 man, later identified as Alejandro Antonio Carlson, 32, reportedly tussled with the woman until her hubby, who had triple bypass surgery last year, grabbed a gun and pushed the intruder away from his wife and hold him at gunpoint until cops arrived, according to the report.
