Yvonne Gallimore, a 770-pound woman, has struggled against lymphedema for 17 years. About two weeks ago Gallimore was admitted to the hospital for a leg infection. Medical crews had to tear through a wall of her Section 8 apartment in order to transport her, reports The Ledger in Lakeland.

Gallimore appealed to the community to help her.

Somebody stepped up to the plate.

A mystery donor agreed to work with Lakeland Habitat for Humanity to draw a plan for building Gallimore a new home, a project estimated to exceed $100,000.

A spokeswoman for Lakeland Habitat for Humanity says the mysterious donor is supposedly a relation of a wealthy Florida business family with millions of dollars behind their name.
