Teen drivers are the most distracted drivers on the roads. CD’s, iPod’s and cell phones are the main causes for the distractions while driving.   In a 2007 national survey, conducted by the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the State Farm Insurance Company researchers found that 53% of teens said they observed their peers using a hand held device such as a cell phone while driving. The risk of being involved in a car accident is greatly increased as teens cope with the temptations of new technology, such as smart phones.
