There are a lot of heartwarming stories going on in Aberdeen this Christmas, but here is one that touched me.
Wal-Mart and Pepsi each donated $500 in Wal-Mart gift cards ($1,000 total) to be used to buy presents for low-income families.

You'd think, considering what I do for a living, my holiday shopping would be done by August, my presents neatly wrapped by Thanksgiving and come Christmas Eve, I'd be sipping eggnog and watching "It's A Wonderful Life."
