Astronaut reads 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' on Space Station

May 25 was Towel Day, a celebration of the late author of the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and what better way to remember Douglas Adams than by having an astronaut read his remarkable book in space. ESA Astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti read the Guide’s section on the subject of towels from the European laboratory Columbus on the International Space Station. “A towel, it says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have,” according to the Guide.
