Astronaut Mike Foreman spoke about his career with NASA and his ventures into space on two Space Shuttle missions, during the New England Air Museum's annual Space Expo on April 7.
Foreman, dressed in his blue NASA, flight suit, is a former U.S. Navy pilot and Ohio native who retired as a captain in 2009. He noted that his home state produced the most astronauts in the NASA program.
Foreman showed a short video of his last space mission, STS 129 on the Space Shuttle Atlantis in 2009, a trip to the International Space Station, a venture he shared with crew members Charles Hobaugh, Barry Wilmore, Leland Melvin, Randolph Bresnik, and Robert Satcher.
