WHAT: The Halloween spirit is fluttering about Orlando Science Center within its current exhibit "Bats: Myths and Mysteries." Live bats from Africa, North America and South America are the centerpiece of the display, which covers the role of bats in the ecosystem, demonstrates the animals' echolocation skills and explores the oddities of their bodies.
WHEN: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily (Closed Wednesdays). The public can watch feeding of the bats at 11 a.m. and participate in "bat enrichment" at 1 p.m. The exhibit runs through Jan. 4.
