Rooftop bar fans could have another spot in Wrigleyville to add to their checklist.
The owners of Old Crow Smokehouse, which is located at 3506 N. Clark St. in the former Chen's restaurant space, would like to add a 3,000-square-foot rooftop patio on the second floor.
The owner applied to the Zoning Board of Appeals for a special use permit. It will be considered at the Aug. 15 meeting.
The 10,500-square-foot barbecue joint opened late last year and currently has a retractable roof. If approved, it will join the ranks of other Wrigleyville bars with rooftops, including Vines on Clark, Casey Moran's and Sports Corner.
