    Recently, we heard that five members of Maryland's Congressional Delegation committed to stand with working families and vote no on pending fast track trade authority legislation ("Give Obama 'fast track' authority," April 17). The decision by Reps. Elijah Cummings, Donna Edwards, C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger, John Sarbanes and Chris Van Hollen to vote against this undemocratic and unaccountable fast track legislation is laudable. Maryland has already lost nearly 75,000 jobs to bad trade deals such as NAFTA and Japan's and China's currency manipulation. It is clear that Maryland cannot afford more of the same trade and fast track policy.
