A new bill that is getting a hearing in Springfield today was inspired by microbiological testing done by an Arizona mom and professor at fast food play lands all over the nation. Erin Carr-Jordan says she has taken dozens of swabs, sealed them, chilled them and sent them to labs to gather information on the opportunistic bacteria that may be lurking on playlands in restaurants, which are currently not regulated for cleanliness in most states, including Illinois.
