    I am stunned again by the disingenuousness of Republican leaders. President Barack Obama has been asking for a comprehensive bipartisan bill on immigration since he took office. A bipartisan first step bill -- the Dream Act -- was developed and put before the House of Representatives, but Speaker John Boehner refused to bring it to the floor for a vote. Comprehensive immigration reform was part of the mandate the President was given when he was elected and again when he was re-elected. And now, after having refused to work with the president on this issue, the Republicans are now saying they will punish him for taking action. I suggest they stop these machinations and get to work.
