A citywide sweep by Hartford police netted 19 arrests of sex offenders not complying with the conditions of the federal registry.
The operation took place Thursday, according to a police report. It was undertaken by the department’s Special Investigations Division and the U.S. Marshals Service, as well as representatives from a variety of state agencies.
All of the individuals arrested “have a past history of sexual violence and/or active arrest warrants” from Hartford police, the report said.
