Hinsdale Central coach Robin Kramer became part-spectator, part-coach Saturday at Buffalo Grove.
The Red Devils secured their seventh state team title in the nine years with 44 points on Friday.
Hinsdale Central notched its second straight title with 49 points. Stevenson was second with 40, followed by Lyons (33).
"This is my 15th year coaching and ninth state championship that I've been a part of, but this is only the second time that we've done it on a Friday," Kramer said. "It's awesome. I felt more relaxed but nervous for the kids because I wanted them to play for the medals and first-place medals and play their best."
And play for medals...
