Toasted Celebrates Grand Opening Of Hartford Storefront

A popular Hartford-area food truck has made the move to a full storefront. Toasted, which got its start as a mobile eatery serving Bushnell Park and other local stops, celebrates the grand opening of its Asylum Street restaurant Feb. 10 at 3 p.m. Owners Debbie and Khen Raviv, who launched the truck in May 2013, opened the shop in November. With the permanent space, Toasted was able to expand its menu of pressed sandwiches to add salads, soups and a larger selection of pastries from First & Last Bakery.  At Toasted, the menu is simple but customizable: Sandwiches start with a base of fresh white or wheat bakery bread (or Udi's gluten free bread) then a choice of sauce...
