Regardless of what Paul Manafort did, the street name that honors his father shouldn’t change, the Manafort family said Tuesday.
The family was “very saddened and disappointed” to learn that the city might pull the name, according to a letter sent to the common council on Tuesday afternoon.
The letter, distributed by attorney and prominent lobbyist Jay Malacynsky, implores the council to vote down a change when it meets Wednesday night.
