Chicago’s skyline could be growing taller north and west of the Loop.
North of the Loop, JDL Development wants to spend $700 million to develop two luxury residential towers on a parking lot just west of Holy Name Cathedral, including one that would become the city’s sixth-tallest skyscraper.
To the west, Related Midwest plans the two tallest towers in the fast-changing Fulton Market district. The two separate projects would create a 58-story residential and hotel tower and a 51-story residential tower.
