All five members of New Britain’s state legislative delegation appear to be seeking re-election this year.
Democratic representatives Peter Tercyak, Rick Lopes and Bobby Sanchez all confirmed on Thursday that they’re running for new terms. Rep. William Petit, the lone Republican lawmaker representing the city, said he, too, will campaign for re-election.
Democratic Sen. Theresa Gerratana, who was considering a run for statewide office last year, is not declaring one way or the other. But when asked on Thursday, she said she could see the full Democratic legislative team on the November ballot again.
“I believe we’re all going to be together,” she said.
