General counsel to Gov. Bruce Rauner buys Hinsdale home for $1.37 million

Jason Barclay, who serves as Gov. Bruce Rauner's general counsel, has paid $1.37 million for a four-bedroom house in Hinsdale.

Barclay, 39, most recently was a lawyer in private practice in Indiana. Previously he had been legal counsel for then-Gov. Mitch Daniels of Indiana.

Built in 1986, Barclay's new 11-room house has 3-1/2 baths, three fireplaces, hardwood floors, an office, a rec room and a game room. The house had been listed for $1.4 million.
