SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Aaron Taylor kicked off the group text message this week with several of his Notre Dame teammates from 1993.
"Thanks fellas for being a part of the single greatest sporting accomplishment of my life," wrote Taylor, a former Irish offensive lineman. "I'm an emotional water-head re-living those moments before, during and after that 3 1/2-hour window of greatness."
Former running back Lee Becton was first to respond.
"'Thank you, A.T. That was my greatest sports moment also,' " Taylor said Becton wrote. " 'It was even better because of the group of men I shared it with.' "
