Christie, stressing life story, launches uphill bid for president

LIVINGSTON, N.J. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie formally launched his presidential candidacy Tuesday, kicking off what is predicted to be an uphill bid for the Republican nomination by drawing on his modest New Jersey beginnings.
