Opinion: A misstep on Iran nuclear deal

New York's Chuck Schumer, the third-ranking Democrat in the U.S. Senate, is a virtual lock to become minority leader when Sen. Harry Reid retires in 2017. His opinion carries weight, both in his party and in that chamber. So when he announced on Thursday that he opposed the nuclear deal with Iran, it was a significant setback to the White House.
