Attorneys eye O'Donnell finances in FEC lawsuit

A federal judge has approved an agreement between attorneys for Christine O'Donnell and the Federal Election Commission for exchanging information regarding her finances and her ability to pay any civil penalty or disgorgement of funds if she loses an agency lawsuit. The FEC is suing O'Donnell, claiming she illegally used at least $20,000 in campaign contributions to pay bills at a townhouse that also served as her 2010 U.S. Senate campaign headquarters. O'Donnell argues that campaigns are allowed to lease headquarters space and are not prohibited from subleasing space to a candidate for a residence.
