Dr. Elinore McCance-Katz, chief medical officer for the Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities, and Hospitals, is an Eastern Connecticut State University graduate with a Ph.D. from Yale and who went to UConn Medical School.
