Washington stirs travel pot -- but will the result be tasty for consumers?

Over the last few weeks, various folks in Congress have come up with a handful of proposals that involve travel. Although some look dead on arrival -- in fact they come close to grandstanding -- others actually stand a chance. But given the current Washington climate, consumer-friendly proposals are likely to find less active support than proposals friendly to the travel industry.
