Poll says Howard voters support nutritional standards bill

More than two-thirds of Howard County voters support a bill that would create nutritional standards for the food and drinks sold in vending machines on county property, according to the results of a poll commissioned by The Horizon Foundation. The legislation passed the council by a 4-to-1 vote in June and was vetoed by County Executive Allan Kittleman earlier this month.
