Flu clinics will be offered at several Friendship Center locations for the general public age 18 and over. They will be offered at the Petoskey Friendship Center on Wednesday, October 19 from 9 a.m- 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19; at the Huber Senior Center in Brutus 10 a.m.-noon on Friday, Oct. 14; at the Pellston Friendship Center 10 a.m.-noonon Tuesday, Oct. 25. You will need to provide your name, address, date of birth, phone number, Social Security number, and insurance information when you call to make an appointment. This year's flu vaccine will also contain the H1N1 swine flu vaccine. Pneumonia vaccine, Tetanus vaccine, and Tdap(tetanus, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis) will be available as well. Check with your physician to see if these vaccines are indicated for you. Medicare B and Medicaid will be billed so please bring your cards. The cost for all others will be $25 for flu vaccine, $60 for Pneumonia vaccine, $45 for Tdap vaccine, and $25 for tetanus vaccine.
