Zoey weighed 8 pounds, 1.2 ounces at birth. She has a brother, Kaydin Henson, 5, and a sister, Dezarae Henson, 2. Grandparents are Melinda Smith of East Jordan, Faith Henson of Boyne Falls, Tim Henson of Boyne City, and Michael Henson of Boyne Falls.
A daughter, Paizlee May Boyer, was born to Christopher and Cammy Boyer of Boyne City Sept. 11, 2011, at Charlevoix Area Hospital. Paizlee weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces at birth. Grandparents are Howard and Virginia Boyer of Boyne City.

The Emmet County Republican Womens meeting on Monday Sept. 19, will host guest speakers Randy Hekman, former prosecutor and juvenile court judge, Peter Konetchy, accountant and businessman and Gary Glenn, president of the American Family Association of Michigan, who are all running for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Democrat Debbie Stabenow.
