Again this year the Charlevoix Lions will be selling Christmas trees.
However, based on community input, Lions officials have made some changes from past years.
Tree sales organizers have also added Scotch pines along with the ever-popular Black Hills spruce and Fraiser fur. Another addition will be wreaths.
Project chairman Steve Michael said the Charlevoix Lions want to thank the community for its past support and they hope the changes meet the community's ever-hanging desires. He added that, as in the past, proceeds from sales are returned to the community as grants to local projects.
Sales hours are from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Monday-Friday hours are from 4-8 p.m.
