Jude T. Fusco, 76, of Petoskey and Colorado, passed away on Dec. 18, 2011. He succumbed to the rare progressive neurological disease of MSA, multiple system atrophy.
Jude was a graduate of architecture from the University of Toronto and a member of Psi U fraternity. He founded the architecture firm Fusco, Shaffer, Pappas, in Southfield, Mich., which specialized in housing for the elderly and health care. Jude was a member of the MIA and AIA. He served on many boards including Guest House, Sobriety House, Saint Jude's Home, and was a volunteer probation officer for the 48th district court in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. Jude was also a friend of Bill W. for 31 years.
