EAST JORDAN — Officials in East Jordan will introduce to the community four candidates for city administrator.
City commissioners will host a public presentation next week that involves four candidates for the top city management job. Each applicant will make a 10-minute presentation about what they see in the city's future, should they be hired as administrator.
The four candidates are: R. Eric Cline, last employed with Leelanau County; Meg Mullendore-Cluckey, with the village of Cassopolis; Charles Stewart, with the Grand Traverse Band Economic Development Corporation; and, Christopher Yonker, last employed with the city of Wayland.
Those in the audience will be asked to complete an assessment form after each candidate's presentation, a way for city commissioners to better understand community perceptions for each applicant.
The resignation of administrator Robert Anderson created the position vacancy.
Job candidate presentations will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, at the community auditorium at East Jordan High School, 101 Maple St., in East Jordan. Call Cheltzi Wilson, East Jordan city clerk, at (231) 536-3381 for more information.
