Executive Auto Group Comes Through for Veterans

The veterans at St. Luke’s Eldercare home in Middletown will be traveling in style thanks to Executive Auto Group.

The group donated a 2012 Dodge Caravan that will be used to transport the home’s veterans to their medical appointments. The volunteers who drive them had been using their personal vehicles, according to Scott Orsini, general manager of Executive Auto Group.

Several veterans were in attendance at a luncheon Thursday at Acura of Berlin, where the Caravan was donated to St. Luke’s.

“It’s just a way of saying thanks to the troops that have given so much for us,” Orsini says.  “Lots of times, these guys are forgotten. They went out and put their lives on the line and it’s a great feeling to give back to them.”
