Pedestrians, be careful!

In this week's review of the Chevy Volt, Jim MacPherson includes this point: "Note to pedestrians: As electric cars become more popular you are taking your life in your hands if you cross the street by ear, without looking."

I thought his warning bears repeating, especially now that we are walking, jogging and strolling with our baby carriages enjoying the warm weather. Other advice: don’t wear earphones and listen to music or talk on your cell phone while crossing busy streets. And look both ways.
