An electric Ferrari? Don't count on it

At least that's what Ferrari president Luca di Montezemelo told Engadget in a recent interview.

Montezemelo said "You will never see a Ferrari electric because I don't believe in electric cars, because I don't think they represent an important step forward for pollution or CO2 or the environment."

However, Ferrari is working on a hybrid after unveiling the 599 HY-KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show.
The company currently uses hybrid with KERs technology  in the Formula One race, and its expected to shift some of its green innovation towards its road cars.
