Sure, gas prices have dropped a bit as we enter the early stages of summer. But they're still pretty high.
Or are they?
Via cars.com, Gizmodo stacks up the price of gas against several other commodities.
For example, Coke costs 3.84 a gallon, while a 16oz Grand Latte from Starbucks checks in at 32 bucks a gallon. And a gallon of nail polish will set you back over a grand (1,024 dollars per gallon).
Ok, so maybe most of us (read:none of us) are buying 15 to 20 gallons of nailpolish or lattes at once.
Still, something interesting to look at.
