That's a noteworthy milestone, but the bigger news: Barbara Walters can talk about reports that she will retire next year. "The View" airs at 11 a.m. weekdays on WFTV-Channel 9.
Walters, 83, plans to retire in May 2014, Reuters has reported, citing a source. But what does Walters have to say? I'm kind of surprised she didn't spring the news herself and instead left that to "a source familiar with her plans" who was quoted in the Reuters story.
Oh, well, maybe she wants big ratings today for "The View."
Monday's show also features Noel and Amanda Biderman of the website Ashley Madison.
The guest lineup for the rest of the week:
Friday: Chef Bobby Flay is guest co-host. Bridget Moynihan promotes "Blue Bloods" on CBS that night. Former college football players Brian Banks and Justin Brooks discuss being exonerated from rape convictions. Lori Klein, Barbara Walters' makeup artist, gives tips to the audience.
There's a whole lotta promoting going on this week.
