A Seattle radio station in put J&D's Foods new bacon deodorant to the test when they blindfolded a co-worker and forced him to smell their armpits.
J&D's Foods specializes in bacon-themed products, from bacon salt to baconnaise, a bacon-flavored mayonnaise.
Wanting to expand on the food-only options, the company, which started in 2007, has introduced Power Bacon, a bacon-scented deodorant. According to bacontrepreneur Justin Esch, Power Bacon is for men who "sweat like pigs" and want "all day meat-scented protection."
KQMV Movin' 92.5 near Seattle put the deodorant to the test this week by having a blindfolded co-worker smell the 92.5 morning crew's armpits, each scented with a different smell.
When the blindfolded employee got to the armpit with Power Bacon, he immediately recognized the unmistakable bacon smell, only to later be shocked that he was smelling underarms.
This isn't the first time Jose Bolanos has been put up to a bacon-themed stunt. In 2011, he was tricked into eating a breakfast flavored with bacon lube.
