The Orlando Magic have activated Hedo Turkoglu for tonight's game against the Toronto Raptors, and he will play for the first time since he suffered a broken left hand in the season-opener Nov. 2.

But Turkoglu won't have an easy transition.

Starting point guard Jameer Nelson has a sore hip and will not play tonight, team officials said. Nelson's absence likely will mean Turkoglu will bring the ball upcourt often tonight.

An MRI today revealed that Moore has a sprained ligament inside his left elbow and does not have any damage to the joint. Moore will not play tonight, and it's unclear how much time he will miss.

Ish Smith likely will start at point guard in Nelson's and Moore's absences.
