Fallon averaged 3.7 million viewers for telecasts June 16-19 that helped promote Diagon Alley, the expansion of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
All three programs were in repeats on Friday, June 20. With all five telecasts for the week averaged, Fallon pulled in 3.6 million viewers while Kimmel and Letterman each drew 2.3 million.
In the 18-to-49 age group, which is so important to advertisers, Fallon put up a 1.13 rating, which topped the combined 1.00 rating for Kimmel (0.57) and Letterman (0.43).
Season to date, Fallon remains the late-night leader since succeeding Jay Leno on Feb. 17. Fallon is averaging 4.2 million viewers while Letterman and Kimmel are each drawing 2.6 million.The Fallon trip provided extensive promotion for Universal Orlando Resort. Like NBC, Fallon's network, the resort is part of NBCUniversal.
