Lake-Sumter State College’s baseball and softball programs had three players each selected to the Mid-Florida All Conference teams.
Right-handed pitchers Kuehl McEachern from Eustis and David Wood from Groveland South Lake were named to the conference’s first-team and former Green Cove Springs Clay outfielder Dakota Higdon was a second-team selection.
In softball, former Apopka player Lauren Barnard was a first-team first baseman and Michelle Breen, a utility player from South Sumter, and Jodi Pierce, an outfielder from Apopka, were second-team choices.
