Gov. Rick Scott will be taking his "we're getting people to work" message to a gathering of Young Republicans in downtown Orlando tonight.
Scott will be delivering the keynote address to the three-day conference of the Florida Federation of Young Republicans convening at the Embassy Suites Downtown.
As in most of his past speeches, the governor is expected to tout opportunity created by deregulation and tax reductions, a combination he credits for Florida's improving economy. State Sen. David Simmons, R-Altamonte Springs, also is expected to address the gathering tonight.
