Coming off a third straight Elite Eight appearance, coach Billy Donovan's Gators will face seven NCAA tournament teams from 2012-13 - Wisconsin on Nov. 12, Southern (Nov. 18), Middle Tennessee State (Nov. 21), Memphis (Dec. 17), Missouri (Feb. 4) and Ole Miss (Feb. 22).
Florida also will visit three-time national champion Connecticut on Dec. 2, three days after playing host to rival Florida State. The next day, Nov. 30, the Florida and FSU football teams will square off in the Swamp.
Of the Gators 18 SEC games, three will appear on CBS and 11 will be televised by ESPN or one of its affiliates. Florida will face Wisconsin on ESPN2 and Kansas, Florida State, UConn and Memphis on ESPN.
Florida's non-conference schedule should test a team that lost its three leading scorers. The Gators return center Patric Young and add several promising newcomers, including Virginia Tech transfer Dorian Finney-Smith, a 6-foot-8 forward, and freshman guard Kasey Hill, a McDonald's All-American from Montverde Academy in Clermont.
The SEC schedule will test Florida with a February stretch of three of four road games at Tennessee, Kentucky and Ole Miss. The Gators also will have taxing Thursday-Saturday turnarounds on consecutive weeks - Jan. 23-25 (Alabama, Tennessee) and Jan. 30-Feb. 1 (Mississippi State, Texas A&M).
