"Dancing With the Stars" starts ejections at 9 on ABC. Josh Groban and Icona Pop perform on the first results show this season. D.L. Hughley and Dorothy Hamill are the likeliest to go. He was atrocious last week and brooded over being trashed by judges on national television. She seemed lost this week. ABC starts the night with "Splash," the celebrity diving contest, at 8. The network has teased that one contestant leaves because of injury.
"The Voice" continues its blind auditions with a one-hour episode at 8. The ratings for Monday's season premiere should be encouraging to NBC, which has struggled in recent months.
It's a big night for guest stars. "NCIS" presents Jamey Sheridan ("Homeland") as the estranged father of Tim McGee (Sean Murray), at 8 on CBS. Sheridan's character is an admiral who is a suspect in a murder aboard a U.S. Navy ship. The episode also features guest star Joel Gretsch of "V."
Margo Martindale plays Nick's mom on "New Girl" at 9 on Fox. The trailer shows Jess playing Elvis at a family funeral and infuriating Martindale's character. Fox will get viewers in the mood by letting Gordon Ramsay prime the fury pump on "Hell's Kitchen" at 8.
The best bet at 10, however, is probably "Justified" on FX. That drama is headed to its season finale next week.
