Alfredo Munoz of Moses Lake, Wash. won the annual Stone Crab Claw Eating Contest held in the Florida Keys this past weekend devouring 25 crab claws in 17 minutes and 35 seconds.

That's roughly one crab claw every 42 seconds.

He took on more than 50 competitors at the Keys Fisheries Restaurant and Seafood Market in Marathon.

The event is not an official Major League Eating contest. They were busy this past weekend gorging on Poutine in the World Poutine Eating Championship in Toronot. Up next for them Tunica, Miss., and this is really intriguing -- the first ever World Twinkie Eating Championship.
